Musa Chelebi ('Gentleman' in Turkish) was a son of Sultan Bayazid I, with whom he was captured by Tamerlane in the Battle of Ankara in 1402. Upon the death of his father, Musa was released from captivity in 1403 and became a pretender to the Ottoman throne, but he was defeated and killed by his brother Mehmed in 1413
